Kiss Daniel soars as Adekunle Gold stumbles

Two artists who have had the same fortune in recent time are Kiss Daniel and Adekunle Gold. They both shocked the industry by dropping three back-on-back mega hits that made people believe and expect that’s the way it would keep going for them. But there’s every indication that one of them, Adekunle Gold, is currently stumbling. Though he’s currently preparing to drop his debut album, Gold, his latter single, Ready, has failed to really fly like his previous singles, Sade, Orente and Pick Up. Ready is not really spreading so no one is really talking of Gold again. But while Gold’s feathers have received a sort of trimming, Daniel, who also received the same trimming with his fourth single as well, Good Time, didn’t make any mistake with his fifth, Mama, which is blowing bigger by the day. Now, with Daniel’s album, already out and well received, and his latest video, Jombo, expected to do very well, Gold will have to really up his game or it might just be the end of the fairy tale for him.
