As part of plans to keep the nation and the government updated on the successes of its year-long campaign, End Sexual Harassment and Bribery in Nigerian Colleges, the founder of Dream Project for Africa, Oluwabukola Michael Nelson, has declared his team’s intention to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari in May 2016 in order to present official documentations and reports from its campaign and researches that could boost government’s efforts at rebuilding the crashing educational system.

He also explained that over the past year, since April 2015, DPA has provided free consultation worth N20m in logistics and human hours on behalf of the government and has contributed to resolving issues ranging from academic corruption to the fight against terrorism.

“More importantly, we’ve been able to reignite the hope of Africans living abroad in coming back to their motherland to rebuild its walls,” he said.

DPA will also be launching its second annual campaign which will focus on the importance and benefits of paying tax and the need for government to invest taxpayers’ money into programs that can outlive each administration, thereby creating systems that serve the society and the nation over generations.

As part of its activities for its new year which begins in May, DPA will host a press conference in Ikeja, Lagos which will be attended by media stakeholders and other leaders in the community that have partnered with DPA in the past year.

It’ll also hold an international twiference (Twitter conference) using the hashtag, #jointhethinking, on Friday, May 13, 2016.

Issues such as the future of African leaders and the economic and social disasters caused by corruption will be treated at the conference.

In addition, it’ll hold a rally for change in Abuja in May and pay visits to political and civilian leaders with whom it can exchange ideas on the way forward for the nation.

Keep it up, DPA.
