Oh! How the world really needs five Popes or even more
If there’s one institution that really needs some competition, it’s the papacy.
A revered institution that is globally respected, it
can be said to be only relevant now based on its old glory.
And, considering the current situation of the world
where Christians are being brutally persecuted, despite the existence of the
papacy, you begin to question the papacy’s relevance to the world now.
And that is only logical.
And it doesn’t take the brains of a rocket scientist
to realize that the papacy needs some serious competition to really make it
substantially relevant again, not superficial as it is now as the current
system of one Pope isn’t really helping the world as it should.
That’s just being realistic.
And the football sector is one that proves that
really quite well.
Football is very relevant today in the world because
there’s a lot of competition in it locally, regionally, nationally and
globally.
This cannot be said to be the case with the papacy.
So, just imagine a situation where the world has
about five Popes or one Pope for each continent or even many more Popes and
they are all competing for relevance?
Can you imagine how so much better the world will be
then?
I certainly can.
