Cornell Udofia wins 11 awards
2011 is a year that renowned
entertainment publicist and consultant, Cornell Udofia, will never forget.
Amazingly, he won 11 notable awards, an achievement he says he “always hopes
for but never knew would become a reality in 2011.”
A mass communication graduate and
Chief Strategy Ooficer at Cornell Media Consult, Udofia has handled the
publicity portfolios of many A-list celebrities including Jim Iyke, Faze,
Waconzy, Tonto Dike, Muma Gee and Miss Nigeria UK 2011, Davota Lawson.
Speaking on how he has been able
to win so many awards in a single year, he said, “I believe it’s due to my hard
work and that I’ve paid my dues over the years and all my efforts have not gone
unnoticed by the industry.”
A native of Akwa Ibom, some of
his 11 awards are ZAFAA Award UK, MITV-Star FM’s TEEN’s Favourite Publicist,
Female Divas Recognition Award, Media Ambassador of the Year by Yabatech
National Association of Akwa Ibom students.
Even as he gave God the glory for
all his awards and also thanked the entertainment industry for recognising his
considerable input into the industry, he said, “2012 is another year, and I’m
hopeful of surpassing that feat this year.”
