entertainment personality based on his star roles in Hollywood blockbusters and
his presence in the video is certainly a big boost for it and should open up a
new fan base for Alade.
Asides that, the video’s plot is
actually its main selling point.
In a country (Nigeria) and world
where music videos have become quite inane and predictable, Remind You is quite refreshing and superlative as it goes against the norm in a
very simple and realistic way.
Alade comes home in it seemingly
like a big girl and owner of the exquisite abode. And as befitting of her
status, she pours herself wine and sleeps off in her luxury bed and wakes at
the sound of the arrival of an SUV.

Alade has it in her to be a damn
good actress.
Not a passable one, but a damn
good one and we hope she will also light up cinema screens soon.
Her tone and countenance when she
and Hounsou were in their only scene together in the video were so perfect that
even an Oscar-winning actress would be envious of her portrayal.
