Lionel Messi or Lionel Scaloni?

There’s probably no one in the world at this point in time who doesn’t know of the Argentine football great, Lionel Messi, who rose to global prominence as a player for the renowned football club, FC Barcelona, and is now playing for Inter Miami.

Such is his greatness that with the World Cup the only missing trophy from his achievements, the whole world prayed for him to win it at the FIFA World Cup 2022 that was felt would be his last World Cup and he won it then indeed and is on course to win it again this year.

And of great note is that when he finally won it in 2022, it was at his fifth attempt.

Into the picture thus comes a lesser-known Lionel, the current manager of the Argentina national football team, Lionel Scaloni.

It was when he became the manager that Messi finally began winning the national trophies missing from his CV, the Copa America and the World Cup.

And this crucial statistic definitely beggars the question of who’s the greater Lionel between the two of them for Argentina national football and has had more impact on it.

That answer is glaringly obvious.
