Why is the US suddenly unfriendly to international students?
There’s a lot of talk about international students no longer being welcome in the US.
And the talks focus primarily on how the students are
a great benefit to the US.
And there’s no dispute that they are indeed a great
benefit.
Just as there’s also no dispute that nothing is
indispensable in this world of ours.
And it would seem education isn’t being a great
benefit to the students because if it was, the first thing it would have taught
them is that there’s a consequence to everything in life and as you lay your
bed, so also must you sleep in it.
So, if a country that was once friendly to them has
suddenly decided to stop welcoming them, teaching the students the lesson they
perhaps aren’t being taught in their schools that nothing is indispensable in
life, then the students themselves have to X-ray themselves to know why they
are no longer welcome and address the reason or reasons appropriately,
especially as the main alternative for them, China, seems to not be favored by
them and other professionals generally for reasons best known to them all or
else they would all have abandoned the US for it.
It’s just simple logic.
