Fuck The Headies and Ayo Animashaun -Vic O

Following the release of its list of its nominees this year, The Headies, founded by Ayo Animashaun, has been attacked by Iyanya’s manager, Ubi Franklin, and extremely ambitious rapper, Vic O. Both Franklin and Vic O didn’t bother to mince words when castigating The Headies over the fact that Iyanya, DJ Coublon and Vic O were not nominated in any category. Through Twitter, they came at the awards and its founder. While Franklin was a bit diplomatic, but nevertheless drove his point home, Vic O was expletive all the way. According to Franklin, Coublon shoud have been nominated because he produced many smash hits in the year under review. Some of the hits are Woju, Laye, Applaudise and Duro. While Coublon was the first person he spoke out for, he ended by speaking for Iyanya as well, declaring that Iyanya’s Mr Oreo should have been nominated as well. In the same vein, Vic O claimed that he should have been nominated as well and that his non-nomination is unfair because he scored many hits, including Look Uche Face and Drake And Meek Mill Diss in the last year. And expletively: “What the f**k? No nomination for me in The Headies. F**K @Ayoanimashaun. F**k @The_Headies. F**k @HipTv. Politics in the industry.”
