Nigezie TV boss, Kwame, opens club and restaurant

Virtual Media Network Limited CEO, Femi Aderibigbe, popularly known as Kwame, and wife Dorothy have opened a multimillion naira club and restaurant at Ogba, Lagos. The club is named Uptown and is located at the popular College Road. It is rumoured to be worth about two hundred million naira. Kwame, a media entrepreneur has been on this project for almost four years now, but he didn’t let the cat out of the bag until the project was finally completed. Righteousman cuts off dreads, announces new album

Veteran reggae artist, Righteousman, has cut off his iconic dreadlocks. Speaking exclusively with str8upbangin’s writer and editor, Naija Hippy, he revealed that he decided to cut off his dreadlocks because he wants to rebrand. He also revealed that he wants to release a new album titled The Gospel which unlike his previous conscious singles, NO! AND Babylon Man, released last year through Now Muzik is straight up gospel music served in his usual pure reggae format. The album will be released under his imprint Big Town Records on June 1.

‘I see music as divine assignment’

Solagbade Sola is a gospel music minister. Born in Ikeja, Lagos about 37 years ago to the family of Olanipekun Okusanya, she is the first daughter. In 2002, she got married to Segun Solagbade. In 2008, she came out with her debut album tilted Yin Baba. Subsequently, she released her second audio titled Sounds Of Praise in 2013, followed by another album in 2014 titled Yahweh Praise. In this interview with ADEJUWON OSUNNUYI, she speaks about her latest album Ayo Mi Ti De, among others. How did you come into music? To me, I see music as a mission to be fulfilled.
