Saying that Crazy singer Seyi Shay is flying really high at the moment is not an understatement. On the back of being nominated for two categories of the MTV Africa Music Awards, she has disclosed that she has signed a recording deal with Island Universal Records. The signing took place in London and she was so excited by it that she announced it to the whole world through Instagram, saying, “this is what most of us work so hard for. As part of activities to commemorate the 2015 World Sickle Cell Day, the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria, in collaboration with Channels TV, Silverbird Group and Mainframe Productions, has organized free screenings of the epic movie, Dazzling Mirage, in Lagos and Abuja. According to SCFN, the movie is a different and more creative means of raising awareness and educating people about sickle cell disorder as what better way is there to educate people than through story telling? The 2014 drama film, produced and directed by Tunde Kelani, is an adaptation of a novel of the same name by Olayinka Abimbola Egbokhare.
