2face officially rebrands to 2Baba

The entertainment industry has witnessed a new twist as multiple award-winning artist, Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia, officially rebrands himself with the new stage name, 2Baba. The afropop star, who was recently inducted into the Headies’ Hall of Fame, first hinted of his plan to rebrand during the launch of his sixth studio album in 2014 which gave rise to speculations that he would no longer be known as 2face Idibia. In the same vein, 2Baba, who has always spoken about his love for his fans and his constant need to deliver good music to them, and he is set to thrill them once again with a new single. The track, his New Year gift to fans, is titled Coded Tinz. The Sarz-produced Coded Tinz is 2Baba’s first single for this year 2016. It is a dancehall track that features hip-hop act, Phyno and Chief Obi. Coded Tinz is proof of 2Baba’s versatility as an artist and it has been released exclusively through MusikGenie, a platform that allows fans listen to and dedicate music to friends and family. 2Baba, as usual, ended 2015 with a bang, delivering super performances at the One Lagos Fiesta and Calabar Festival, and now he takes on 2016 head-on with Coded Tinz.
