Why Otedola actually gave DJ Cuppy N5bn

Otedola and Cuppy
If you know Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy, then you know in addition to being a DJ, she’s also an aspiring singer.

If you do know her, you would know some commend her and some criticize her for her singing and music making abilities.

You would also know that though she found fame and some fortune as a DJ and that she actually hustles to be an independent woman, lots of people out there say she’s only a success because she’s the daughter of the billionaire, Femi Otedola.

But where her she’s-successful-only-because-of-her-father detractors get it wrong is that there are many other wealthy men’s children out there who also ventured into entertainment like her and failed woefully.

And if you do know her indeed, you would know she’s had a hard time of having Otedola as her father due to insistent bashing that she’s nothing without him and it got to a point that she had to come out and say she didn’t choose who her father would be.

But it would seem that she’s finally come to terms with him being her father, or resigned to it as her fate, as in her latest song, Gelato, featuring Zlatan Ibile, she proclaimed happily to the whole world that he’s her father and she’s gotten her reward for it, the N5bn he gave her for her foundation, and which he did only because he’s happy that she’s finally gotten over her insecurities about him.

So, over to you, Cuppy’s siblings, you now know the best way to your father’s purse, just make him feel that you are insecure about his influence in your life and he’ll bless you with damn good money to drive away your tears and fears and reassure you.
