Super talent Abogidi keeps shining with recent ESPN feature

If there’s one super-talented person who keeps shining to the extent he was recently featured by international sports network ESPN, it’s Efe Abogidi.

Talented in the renowned sport, basketball, he’s so much so he’s currently headed to its very pinnacle: the NBA.

A Nigerian, but you might just as well call him Pride of Africa, he’s presently a freshman at Washington State University and his journey to WSU began in earnest when he astounded the world when at just 15 years, he made international headlines by dunking from the free throw line at Seed Project’s Hoops Forum 2017.

Because of his prodigious talent, he was provided a scholarship to attend NBA Academy Africa, an elite basketball training center in Saly, Senegal for the top prospects from throughout Africa and the first of its kind on the continent.

Having proved his mettle as a student-athlete at NAA, he was elevated to NBA Global Academy Canberra Australia which serves as the hub for top prospects from across the league’s academies.

And he made history by becoming the first Nigerian to be admitted into the NGA.

Definitely a man who records are trailing, a lot is expected of him and now he’s been on ESPN, don’t be surprised if he’s all over your faces soon as one of the NBA’s brightest prospects.
