Lagos International Trade Fair introduces Eko Akete

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents the 2015 Lagos International Trade Fair, the premiere international trade fair in West Africa. The Lagos International Trade Fair is the largest trade fair in West and Central Africa, attracting an average of 500,000 with investors from over 18 countries yearly. For the first time since its conception, the spectacular 10-day event tagged Enhancing Value Addition in the Non-oil Economy will be holding in three different but closely affiliated venues. The general interest fair, which involves all sectors and allows buying and selling, holds at the main bowl of the Tafawa Balewa Square. The Business to Business Exhibition holds at Muson Centre, hosts multinational organizations, foreign investors, and serves as a platform for exhibitions, networking, business-to-business meetings, and an investment conference. As part of the Trade Fair which holds from November 6th to November 15th, 2015, there will be a creative industry fair tagged Eko Akete. The Lagos Creative Industry Fair which is holding for the first time ever, will be held at Freedom Park, Broad Street, Lagos. The Creative Industry Fair will be a fun, entertaining event showcasing performances from Nigeria’s top artists, top Nollywood actors/actresses and fashion walks. Other attractions are showcases of literary works, masterclasses, creative and performing art, fashion displays, art, craft, book display, a series of symposia, dance performances, film shows, dancers and actors workshops, and so on. Eko Akete will also host the annual three-day Lagos Book and Art Festival, LABAF, which will hold from November 13th to 15th, 2015.
