CitizenGO claims pro-abortion, pro-gay siege

The international human rights non-governmental organization, CitizenGO, has said that it’s under a vicious attack by cybercriminals who are unhappy with its aggressive campaigns against abortions and same-sex relationships.

According to its email intimating Oseyiza Oogboo Blog of the attack:

“Over 390,000 CitizenGO members signed a petition urging the Walt Disney Company to stop using its parks to indoctrinate children with the LGTB agenda and gender ideology. Because of this campaign, and our other pro-life and pro-family campaigns, a group of cybercriminals is attacking our website with a powerful and sophisticated DDOS attack. We are still trying to defend our website and our servers from this massive attack.

“After CitizenGO co-convened the World Congress of Families in Verona and raised our voices in defense of the natural family, George Soros funded an undercover journalist to deceive some of our members, manipulate their words and publish false information to hurt CitizenGO's reputation.

“When we launched our anti-gender ideology bus in Spain, the US, Germany, Italy, France, Chile, Mexico and Colombia to expose the totalitarianism of gender ideology, we had to defend ourselves against several lawsuits. We were accused of ‘hate crimes’ for speaking out in defense of the natural family.

“Every time the Left attacks us, we're flooded with vile, hate-filled emails, Facebook comments and even death threats.

“This is what the Left does when someone stands up to them. They try to bully the dissidents. The bullying is even more intense because we are having a huge impact.

“We’re not going to back down, now or ever. But to keep up the fight, we need to redouble our online security and beef up our legal defense fund. And we need to do it without taking resources away from the crucial grassroots campaigning that is the core of our work.

“Will you chip in €10 a month to help give us the resources we need to stand up to the Left seven days a week, 365 days a year?

“Our pledge to you is that we will never let this bullying silence us.

“Let me tell you about the most recent news on the cyber attack we are experiencing...

“As I already told you, hackers started attacking our website on Monday (June 10, 2019) with a massive DDOS attack. They blackmailed us, threatening a more powerful attack if we didn't remove from our petition platform and our website all our campaigns related to abortion and LGTB/gender ideology.

“This is the hackers’ last message:

‘After seeing your last tweets, our only choice is to go ahead with a new attack. Wait for us.’

“Of course, we’re not giving in. We haven’t stopped promoting our campaigns on social media and via other channels, and we’re not accepting the cybercriminals' conditions. On Thursday (June 13, 2019), they renewed the attack on our servers. Right now, we’re working hard to repel the attack. We are also 100% committed to increasing the security level of our servers. This means that we are dedicating a huge amount of economic and human resources. We are buying sophisticated web security products and hiring extra security experts. Our goal is to restore a stable campaigns website and reactivate our campaigns as soon as possible to protect and defend life, family, and freedom.

“We know the next few years will bring a wave of bad policies from the Left. We know that we will need to fight back. And we know that the Left will bully us in response. They will use new cyber attacks, new lawsuits and a variety of other attacks.

“There's a virtually endless list of people and organizations the Left has insulted or attacked, but CitizenGO has been one of their most consistent targets.

“We are going to improve our security measures to protect our systems. But you know that this is a war, and we need to be ready for ‘harder’ weapons. The hackers are still threatening us.

“But we will not back down. Please stand with us today and in the weeks and months to come by becoming a monthly donor right now. Will you chip in €10 a month?

Thanks for all you do.”

Caroline Craddock and the entire CitizenGO Team.
