ORAN elects new executives, sets year 2022 agenda

The prestigious media network, Online Reporters Association of Nigeria (ORAN), has elected its new

executives as well as set its agenda for the year 2022.

The elections held during its recent extraordinary meeting on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Lagos.

Shehu Tijani Adegbola, Publisher, Confirm News, who was the incumbent president during the elections, retained it easily due to his superb handling of the position.

Emmanuel Chukwumah emerged as his vice while Arthur Igbolaju Richard was chosen as the secretary and Titi Oshunlalu his assistant.

The PRO baton was handed over to Alfred Abiodun with Ifeanyi Obodo as his assistant.

The other elected executive members are Abiodun Adisa (treasurer), Quadri Olowolagba (welfare officer) and Funsho Akinwale (financial secretary).

In setting the agenda for the new year, members first of all analysed ORAN’s activities in the outgone year and found them satisfactory but could definitely be improved upon which the president promised he wouldn’t res on his oars to achieve.

Speaking still, he also thanked all the members for their support that was the reason ORAN is successful and assured them that all the decrees of the new ORAN constitution would be adopted to the last letter as it was in the best interests of all the members.
