Nigeria media star Morayo Afolabi-Brown in hot water over polygamy deception

When Nigeria media star Morayo Afolabi-Brown announced to the world through her own production, The Browns’ Couch, that she would allow her husband to become polygamist, it made a lot of news.

It made the news because it was rather shocking that a woman in a monogamous marriage could publicly permit her husband to take another wife.

In hindsight, though, it’s even shocking that people were shocked since Nigeria is a country that many people are polygamous.

Anyway, it didn’t take long for Morayo to U-turn on her approval of her husband becoming polygamous.

And whilst it was shocking when she permitted it, it wasn’t surprising when she U-turned on it on the latest edition of Curiosity Made Me Ask with Bae U Barbie that was released last Saturday, August 8.

And in shamelessly eating her words about approving her husband to become polygamous, what was shocking this time was that she claimed that she only said so so that there could be a real conversation about polygamy.

So now people are accusing her of misleading people through The Browns’ Couch which is supposed to be about helping people become better through the words dished out on it by Morayo and her husband, Femi.

Oh well, when it comes to polygamy, you just can’t catch a break, girl.
