Irresponsibility? ... Peter Okoye misadvices Emmanuel Adebayor
The crises in the P-Square family have been well documented recently. In fact, as it is right now, things are not yet settled in the family.
One of the key players in the crises is Peter, one-half of the duo, P-Square. His actions, especially taking on solo projects that involve P-Square, continue to indicate to the music loving public, that all is not well with P-Square.
Yet, with P-Square in crises of its own, Peter has deemed it fit to wade into another family’s crises, without taking care of his own first.
And the person in family crises whom he deemed to advice with words that can turn that person against his family is one of Africa’s current most successful footballers, Emmanuel Adebayor of Togo.
For some time now, Adebayor has been in a running battle with his mother and siblings and accusations and counter-accusations have been flying back and forth between them that they are plotting evil against him despite all he has done and they too have been saying he’s ungrateful and all that.
And while it’s not yet clear what really the problem of the Adebayors, just as that of Peter’s family, the Okoyes too, is not clear, Peter has sent out a message that can be inflammatory to Adebayor.
According to him, Adebayor doesn’t have to feel obliged to his family and his family should be glad to have him among them, not the other way round.
Oh well, celebrities don’t really think the way everyday people do.
