Davido keeps suffering setbacks

This is not a good time for high flying music artist, Davido. The singer, who has been trailed by criticism all of his career with some quarters still insisting that his success is a fluke, has given his critics reason to flay him again. That reason is that he has postponed his sophomore album’s release again, and his critics are now saying that he’s scared of releasing the album because he’s not sure if it will do well. The album, titled BADDEST, was supposed to be released earlier this year in June, but Davido claimed he had to postpone it because of the fuel crisis the country was going through then. Then this week that it was supposed to be released on August 10th, it’s been postponed again and Davido is now being seen in many quarters as being unserious. Speaking on why he had to postpone BADDEST’s release for the second time, Davido said, ‘The official release date for the much-anticipated album from the renowned award-winning afro-beat superstar, Davido, will now be in September 2015. We are aware that many have been expecting the album at an earlier date, and though we were set to release the album this month, the date has been moved. We are currently placing the finishing touches on the album and we have some exciting news coming up that will greatly benefit the album project.” A word of advice, Davido. Get your act together and release the album unfailingly in September or people might just lose interest in it totally.
