Who will be evicted from Project Fame tomorrow?

Last Saturday, it was time for the 14 contestants of Project Fame West Africa 8 to showcase the result of their weeklong tutelage in the Project Fame Academy, and they did impress the judges with their performances. Three wild card finalists, Ruby Awa-Agwu (Pearl’s twin sister), Oluchi Odii, and Nkechi Ilo, kicked off the show with their performances that they hoped would earn them entry into the Academy to compete for the millions of naira and automobiles that will be given to the final top three PF winners. And after their performances, Nkechi's performance could not earn her a stay in the Academy, but Ruby and Oluchi so much wowed the judges that both were given a chance to compete with those already in the Academy. Then, the judges and the audience enjoyed the initial fourteen contestants’ performances without finding faults with or exposing their loopholes because it was their first performance each and no one would be placed on probation. But on Sunday, the game changed from the laidback attitude of the previous day to one of strictly business. Though the contestants had only spent a week in the Academy, but with the hard work they had already been put through by their teachers, coupled with the judges’ undeterred expectations of appropriate performances, it was time to find out those who had been paying attention in classes. And although they all gave captivating performances on Saturday, Sunday was time to see if they would be able again to impress the judges, faculty and everyone at large with their second set of performances, as a failure to impress would lead to some of them being put on the much dreaded probation list which might lead to eviction from the contest. So, taking it a notch higher, they all mounted the stage one after another with the determination to give it their all and shine through. While this worked out well for some, others unfortunately didn't have it so, and those others found that the unwanted probation was their lot. So, Jennifer, Tejiri, Deborah, Kumi and Richie’s heads are on the chopping block and tomorrow tonight, we’ll know which of them will be axed from the show. Oh well, many are called, but few are chosen.
