Why’s Lepacious Bose shedding her 'proud' weight?

Hardcore fans of A-list comedian and MC, Lepacious Bose, would have known by now that she’s shedding some of the weight which made her stand out and helped her break into the entertainment sector. Without a doubt, Lepacious is one of the biggest women (in size) in the entertainment industry. She’s so big, or fat, whichever one you prefer to use for her, that she chose a name which is the polar opposite of her size, just to capture people’s interest. That was her first gimmick to sell herself: being introduced as Lepacious, which means very slim, and then people discovering that she’s actually very fat (or big). Her second gimmick was to be very brazen about her size. She never shied away from speaking about it on stage and claiming that she was very proud of it and that she was more beautiful and better off than women who were slim. And when this reporter interviewed her, she admitted that she used to be insecure about her size, to the extent that if she entered a public bus, she would apologise for taking up a lot of space but that she was by then confident in it and happy with it. So why’s she now shedding it? She’s been shedding it for some time now and is so happy about the result she’s getting that she posted pictures of her new look on Facebook with the following message: “Oh well, it was kind of exciting for me as I anchored the ICSAN swearing-in of their new president. I could not believe my new size and look. I actually had a defined waistline. OMG! Happy is an understatement yet my waka still far ooo but it's been a fulfilling journey. ‪#‎slimmerandhappier‬.” So why’s she now earnestly shedding weight she claimed to be proud of, and which brought her fame and fortune? It’s quite obvious, isn’t it?
