Ewa Cole arrives with Till 18

Commencing her music voyage about 10 years ago as just a writer of poems and stories, 21-year-old Ewà Cole (real name Ewaoluwa Nicole Olatunji), has always had her inspiration/ideas established and constituted based on her own mind, listening to music from soul singers and most especially from music that speak of all trueness and verity, and all these elements are in play in her latest single, Till 18. A computer science graduate from Babcock University, Till 18 is her first single of 2016, and it’s her official second single following the release of her debut single, Alone (Wale), which she put out last year. Cole, who had few friends during the early days of her life, began writing stories and poems at the age of 11. With no one to turn to, she sought her only friend, music, which she could relate with from every viewpoint, due to its depth. Music meant a lot to her and inspired her to begin penning down personal experiences with family and friends, as well as the dreams she had, and she used her writings to help her with the singles she has released over the years. But she considers Alone (Wale) which she released last year as her official debut single. Now this is 2016, and she says of it: "This year is going to be awesome, your expectations will not be cut short, neither will be mine, and I intend to really go far in the industry this year.” And in tandem with her 2016 aspirations, she has released Till 18, a song that tells a tale about teenage pregnancy, about an underage girl who meets and falls in love with a guy who delights her to the extent that she forgot the warnings of her folks and became pregnant for him. So what happens to her and her pregnancy? Find out in the song.
