Sudan gets UAE-Saudi Arabia $3bn


The UAE and Saudi Arabia have announced a joint initiative to support Sudan with the whopping sum of $3bn.

The assistance bundle entails $500m deposit into Sudan's central bank to strengthen the country's liquidity and monetary reserves.

The remaining amount will be dedicated to provide food, medicines and fuel derivatives to the Sudanese people.
