CMC Gladiators visit newly promoted AIG Ahmed Iliyasu

Upon arrival, right from the station’s
entrance, the Gladiators were warmly welcomed by the
police officers on duty.
“We were ushered into the AIG's
office and without hesitation, the meeting commenced,” Vivian Chima, CMC’s PRO,
said.
The well-organized program was
anchored by Chima who called on First Lady Emma Eno Elijah to lead the opening
prayers after which the second stanza of the National Anthem was rendered by
all and it was then followed by a formal introduction of the Gladiators.
Peace Ambassador and CMC founder,
Udofia, made known the purpose of the visit which included
congratulating/appreciating/encouraging Iliyasu for a job well done in bringing
about reform and transformation to the Nigeria Police Force via his office.
CMC's official comedian Mc Pato,
lightened the atmosphere by cracking some jokes and set the mood right for more
motivational talks from Chief Dr. Solomon Ogbonna, President, Ohaneze Ndi Igbo,
Lagos chapter and Mazi Nwachuwku Sydney while PPRO Hauwa Adamu thanked CMC for
the visit and handed over to Iliyasu who was visibly elated by the visit.
He thanked CMC and assured and
reminded the visitors of his full support for CMC’s pursuit of good security
and reforms in crime fighting.
The never-before-seen jersey for
CMC’s Kick Against Crime Football Tournament scheduled for the year 2020 was then
presented to Iliyasu alongside some
gifts and souvenirs from Ovation Magazine courtesy its founder, Chief Dele
Momodu who’s also a CMC patron.
The visit concluded as at when
due with photographs by CMC magazine, Islanders TV and magazine,
SuperScreen TV, Ovation magazine, BottomLine TV, Vanguard newspaper,
Dynasty magazine and City People magazine.
