D’Banj, Don Jazzy: Still bonded by fate
D'Banj (left) and Jazzy |
Life is all about destiny and
it’s getting more and more apparent by the day that destiny still has a lot in
store for them as partners.
Destiny it was that brought them
together not in Nigeria where they were born and grew up but London, UK.
And their partnership was so
successful that many people are still hoping for more of it. So when they
announced they would be holding a reunion tour, people were happy and looking
forward to it and though nothing’s being heard about it again, people are still
hopeful for it.
That contemplated reunion tour is
a strong pointer from destiny that it still wants them to do stuff together.
And when you now realise their
lives are just too alike, you realize as well that something’s still in store
for them both as partners.
For instance, they both had very
trying times recently.
While D’Banj lost his first
child, Jazzy ran into financial hardship.
Now they’re both out of those
traumatic issues, D’Banj has another child and Jazzy has a new head office,
they’ve also both released songs to say they’ve overcome the turbulence they
encountered.
Jazzy was the first to release All Is In Order, which as the title
already says, means that everything is OK again with him.
D’Banj’s title too as well is Everything Is OK and you don’t need to
be a genius to know it means that he’s OK again after the death of his first
child.
When they were together co-running their label, Mo' Hits, the decisions they took definitely affected the both of them and they had to do many things together.
But now they're no longer together yet they keep experiencing the same sort of things at around the same period, it can only mean fate still wants them to come together.
Over to ya, D'Banj, Jazzy.
