Buhari |
Two of Nigeria’s celebrated
musicians, Skales, and Waconzy, have currently offered opposite views about the
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, thereby proving
the adages: ‘different strokes for different folks’ and ‘one ma’s meat is
another man’s poison.’
Shake Body singer, Skales, was the first to fire a salvo at Buhari
when he exploded recently without mincing words that Buhari is the worst
President in the world.
Waconzy, who’s currently in
America and has been for some time, has however jumped to Buhari’s defence,
saying he’s not the problem of the country.
According to Waconzy who became a
household name with his song, I Celebrate:
“The problem with Nigeria is not Buhari or past Presidents. Rather it’s our
judiciary system.”
He then urged the judiciary to
remember their duties and do their job appropriately. He also adviced them to
try and be independent and if necessary, generate their own funds so they will
not be controlled by the President or other politicians and he concluded by
saying that the judiciary have the ability to turn Nigeria around for the best
in the shortest time possible.
