Nigeria’s latest corruption scheme shocks the world
One country in the world that is so steeped in corruption that it might never escape from it is Nigeria.
Because of corruption, it’s failing to live up to the
great potentials offered by its vast human and mineral resources.
And it keeps getting worse by the day, so much so
that the world was even shocked recently at one of its latest corruption schemes:
fuel refined in Nigeria being imported into Nigeria.
Since the amazingly shocking exposure, the people
connected to it have come out to strenuously deny the practice.
But take their word at your own peril.
Because after they denied that fuel refined in
Nigeria is being imported into Nigeria, it was uncovered that a fake government
agency, Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), was in
existence, had an office in a government building and even had an account with
the Central Bank of Nigeria.
And guess what?
Yeah, you guessed right.
They are denying their involvement in it as well.
