Another crack appears in P-Square’s wall

Everything that has a beginning must have an ending. Twenty children cannot play together for twenty years. The above proverbs apply aptly to one of Nigeria’s most successful music groups, P-Square. For some time now, breakup tales have been trailing P-Square. Tales which got to fever pitch last year when family and professional crises engulfed P-square to the extent that they should have broken up. But they didn’t because the two guys who actually make up P-Square are siblings, and not just siblings, but identical twins, and it’s that bond which binds identical twins that’s still keeping P-Square together. However, that bond keeps being tested every day and it’s only a matter of time now before it will reach breaking point. And right now, the bond is being tested again as one of the P-Square twins, Paul that is, has come out to say that he is wholly responsible for several of their smash hit songs and even their biggest song ever, Do Me. Whether this disclosure will be the straw that will break the camel’s back, that we cannot say yet. But one thing is obvious from Paul’s sudden revelation. The cracks in P-Square’s wall are not yet mended and yet another one has appeared in it. And that only means it’s truly just a matter of time before P-Square will indeed break up.
