Synagogue building collapse: Leave TB Joshua alone -Primate Ayodele … challenges CAN: Speak out on this issue
Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele
(pictured), founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, is a man who
doesn’t mince words.
He says his mind and doesn’t care
whose ox is gored.
Recently, he accused Bishop David
Oyedepo, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and other eminent Men of God of not
saying the truth to the government.
And now, saying he’s speaking as
led by the Spirit of God, he’s taken on the ongoing building collapse at T B
Joshua’s Synagogue Church Of All Nations which claimed many lives.
According to him, Joshua should
be left alone as the loss of lives at his church is definitely not his wish.
“Nobody will wish that people
should die at his church,” Ayodele told OSEYIZA OOGBODO BLOG. “The building
that collapsed at his church is obviously a spiritual issue and beyond the
comprehension of mere men.
“So those who are prosecuting
Joshua over this collapsed building should leave him alone because it’s
definitely not something that he wished. Don’t forget that he has healed many
people and is a philanthropist and he should be left alone because what will
happen to the thousands of people who worship in his church if something should
happen to him?
“The Standards Organisation of
Nigeria has tested the materials used in the construction of the collapsed
building and they said the materials were okay, so the government should leave
him alone and let God judge him as he calls himself a Man of God.”
Speaking further, he said, “I
know other men of God are afraid to speak out, and I don’t belong to the
Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria or the Christian Association of Nigeria, but
I expect that CAN should speak out on this issue.”
