Music expert extols MUSON School of Music for Nigeria art music growth

Music expert and President, Fellowship of Organists, Babatunde Oluwaseyi Shosanya has extolled the

prestigious MUSON School of Music for the growth of art music in Nigeria.

Shosanya, a versatile organist who’s also a music educator, said he had to commend the renowned MUSON School of Music because its contributions to Nigeria through art music cannot just be quantified.

“When I think of what Muson School of Music has done for Nigeria, I’m inspired. Through it, music is growing well in Nigeria as its products are everywhere guiding and tutoring people on how to make the right music technically.

“MUSON graduates are leaders in every facet of the music sector. They’re highly sought after as school teachers, church singers and instrumentalists, entrepreneurs, choirmasters and so on not just in Nigeria but worldwide.”

Concluding, he said, “I just want to encourage MUSON to keep up the good work. Without MUSON, the Nigerian music industry wouldn’t be what it is now and when I think of MTN’s partnership with MUSON which is helping produce more and more properly trained and sound musicians, I’m excited at the future of Nigeria musically, artistically.”
