The proud teacher
Shosanya |
If ever there’s a teacher who is proud, it is Babatunde Oluwaseyi Shosanya.
He’s so proud of the teaching
profession to the point he makes it seem as if it’s a crime not to be a
teacher.
In a country (Nigeria) where
teachers aren’t really regarded, his passion for teaching is quite obvious and
almost infectious.

Doing what I know how to do best, teaching, is a wonderful gift as for
me it has become part of my routine and daily life.
I’m honoured to be in this great noble profession of teaching.
A good teacher is not measured by his grammar in the classroom but the
outcome of the student put in his/her care.
As a teacher, discover yourself and believe in yourself by building and
investing in your professional development.
To change the way you teach, don't be afraid to change the way you
reason. Identify student strengths and help them to develop and build on those
strengths and don’t forget modalities to work out something positive on their
weaknesses.
Music provides a good way for students to meet together and enjoy
themselves, talk to friends and celebrate with each other.
Researching and reading is a rewarding experience and I’ve come to
realise the more I read, the more I know.
