And rumor has it that US President Donald Trump wants another World Cup without Canada, Mexico

The FIFA World Cup that just held from June 11 - July 19 was deemed a roaring success.

It was co-hosted by the US, Mexico and Canada and they all gave a very good account of themselves in their host duties.

And now, with the dust barely settled on the tournament that drew people from all over the world, a rumor has risen from the settling dust that just like the famous Oliver Twist, the President of one of the host countries, the US, in the person of the mercurial Donald Trump who was responsible in the first instance for the tournament to be co-hosted this year by the three countries, wants another World Cup host right.

And the rumor has it that this time around, though, he wants the US to be the sole host, something it has done before in 1994, and that it is even now perfectly capable of doing all by itself because of its vast resources and infrastructure.

And whilst it is just a rumor as of now, it’s definitely the kind of thinking that’s right up the alley of the mercurial Trump with his infatuation for success and America First policy that is all about making sure that America benefits the most in every possible way.

So, since there’s no smoke without fire, and people always want more of a good thing, is it just a rumor indeed or Trump has indeed become Oliver Twist and wants yet another of the globally coveted World Cup hosting rights solely for his beloved US and not sharing a piece of its extremely sweet pie with its neighbors, Canada and Mexico?
