Is China communist or not?

Following the news, you get the distinct impression that there’s some type of reservation about China.

You also get the impression that there’s some type of admiration for it.

And whenever US President Donald Trump’s naysayers want to lash out against him, they say China will be the benefactor of his policies they are up in arms against.

Some of such policies have to do with scientific research and international students.

They argue that the US will lose the top talent from his policies on the two because his policies will make them prefer to go to China.

Curiously, it can’t be said that people are really electing to go to China or to Europe even for that matter.

And in the case of China, people’s refusal to go there as warned will happen by the alarmists confirms the impression that people feel some sort of reservation for it.

Yet it cannot also be denied that everyone admire and respect China for how far it has come.

European and other world leaders bow to its lifelong President, Xi Jinping, and they have no choice but to do so as China holds the world by the jugular as the world’s top manufacturing hub.

And how it came to achieve that enviable height, despite all the alleged top talent research being done by the US and top talents that were available as first choice to the US, is another case study on its own.

Suffice it to say for now that some blame the climate change alarmists for the West losing its manufacturing edge to China.

And hearing the things China can do, and watching the videos of how developed it is, and hearing the news of its future plans that it has begun that others are still dreaming of, you should then be shocked when you suddenly read that China is governed by a political party that must definitely be communist since it has it proudly in its name, Chinese Communist Party.

But communism, especially in the West, is berated as a despicable form of governance.

So, if China is communist but doing so very well that the West is bowing to it, so much so that it’s on a definite course to become the world’s next leader, does that mean its communism brand is a sensible one and not the type so spoken about negatively?

That’s the big question.
