Movie review: Sibe (The Movie) by Bimbo Ademoye stuns the senses

With Sibe (The Movie), Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye scores yet another amazing production that further increases her profile as a producer of damn good movies.

Whilst many producers like her go for quantity, she keeps up the pace with her quality offerings that are walking her walk and talking her talk.

People familiar with her already know the lead character of STM, Sibe, that she has played severally in short films before now making it into a full-length feature.

And Sibe’s growing success is such that it will soon become as legendary a character as Funke Akindele’s Jenifa.

And just like Jenifa that Akindele first introduced through video movies, then evolved it into a series then a cinema movie, Sibe is also on course for that as it came first as short films, now a movie so maybe it has a cinema feature somewhere in its nearest future.

And for STM’s astounding success, Ademoye of course couldn’t go it alone. She had supporting her amazingly Uche Montana, Deyemi Okanlawon, Bryan Okoye, Uzor Arukwe, Saka and many others.

And as Ademoye has now successfully made Sibe into a movie, Iya Barakat the therapist is another of her well-loved serial characters.

So, will it be made into a movie too soon?
