And Spain made then broke Messi
It’s said that what didn’t make you can’t break you.
That saying now seems very apt regarding the great
Argentina footballer, Lionel Messi.
It’s said that he was very little as a little boy,
needed medical aid to develop more, and the country, Spain, through its great
football club, Barcelona FC, was the only one willing to assist him with the
necessary growth hormones.
In return, he returned the favor to them by devoting
the most of his illustrious club football career to Barca.
He however spurned Spain for Argentina when it came
to the country he would represent.
And maybe because Spain can be said to be the country
that made him, thereby knowing his blueprint, it was so easy for them in the
World Cup 2026 final to break him, so much so that he couldn’t help but burst
into tears after the game in which Argentina played definitely the worst
football they have ever had with him as their leader and talisman.
So it’s just further confirmation that anyone who
makes you can break you indeed.
