Did Holland World Cup coach Ronald Koeman know the job he signed on for?

Holland was predicted to win the World Cup by a respected analyst who successfully predicted the last three winners of the World Cup in 2014, 2018 and 2022.

And whilst this analyst believed greatly in Holland, the Holland coach to the World Cup, Ronald Koeman, didn’t seem to get the memo.

So, when Holland met Morocco in the first round of the knockout stage, he fielded five defenders against a team that they were superior to in all ways and were expected to win.

So, when they lost, the questions came flying, including why he used five defenders and Koeman shockingly defended his honor that he would do so all over again.

Oh well, it just proves that he didn’t know the job he signed on for.
