Spend Dat amazing global success! Is India.Arie envious of Yung Miami?

Any professional singer knows that getting a smash hit is a Herculean task.

They further know that getting a smash hit is not by your talent, the promotional funds available to you, the sophistication of your studio equipment, and so on.

If it was these factors that determined smash hits, every singer would score them very easily.

So, singers score smash hits only when their stars align for them.

So, when a recording artist scores a smash hit, a fellow recording artist should know the pains the artist must have gone through to score the hit, especially when it’s publicly documented that the artist in question has struggled to score a genuine hit.

And this brings us to India.Arie who took it upon herself to blast Yung Miami who seemingly suddenly scored the song of the summer with her global smash hit, Spend Dat.

And it’s a justification for her and her recent allegations that Tyla’s smash hit, Chanel, was based on her creativity.

But whilst she’s extremely joyous at her Spend Dat success and basking in its accolades, India.Arie is very sad instead of being happy for her because of how difficult it is to score a hit and India.Arie’s grouse song is that Spend Dat is morally bankrupt.

But then no one can say a song inspired them to do the wrong thing so India.Arie isn’t really justified in her unnecessary criticism and it actually makes her seem like she’s envious of Miami’s current success.

Might that just be the case actually?

It certainly seems so.
