Why did Nigeria Nollywood star Omoni Oboli beg Nigerians to be drinking orange juice?

If there’s one thing Nigerian Nollywood star, Omoni Oboli, proved recently, it’s that our thinking is indeed shaped by our immediate environment.

The actor and prominent movie producer recently shared a picture of her and her husband drinking orange juice and that in itself is common place.

What was shocking however is that she begged Nigerians to be drinking orange juice as a way of living life to the fullest as death can come anytime and considering that she’s a widely travelled woman, it was unexpected of her because she should definitely know that orange juice is just like water in the West, a common thing.

However, in Nigeria where she hails from, orange juice, chicken, meat and so on, basic staples of the West, are basically for Nigeria’s affluent, so in the final analysis, she knew those her message was targeted at.

Oh well, Nigeria just has to do better.
