FIFA President Gianni Infantino exposes haters’ hypocrisy

The FIFA World Cup 2026 has proven one thing very clearly.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is very successful because he’s very astute and diplomatic.

Whilst the extremely successful World Cup was going on, his detractors attacked him left, right and center out of jealousy.

Astutely and diplomatically, he refused to engage with them then because he knew their intention was to draw his focus away from the World Cup so it could fail and to also cast the World Cup in a negative light with a childish back-and-forth.

He refused to play their game, though, thereby frustrating them agonizingly, and now, with the World Cup so successfully concluded that his haters don’t have a ground to stand on as they would have if he had engaged with them and something went wrong somewhere, he has hit back very hard at them.

Through a letter that didn’t hold back any punches, he let them know of their jealousy that was making them irrational in their view of him, FIFA and the World Cup over an issue that they are also guilty of, albeit not guilty in a negative way but positive.

According to him, refereeing decisions and disciplinary decisions at the FIFA World Cup 2026 that were routine and widely accepted in some of the biggest leagues worldwide were slammed by haters, thereby insinuating that they had ulterior motives for doing so.

And he went there further that it was curious that it was the same countries employing those same practices that were criticizing them.

Oh well, people will always hate success.
